Colin Beaumont — Chairman of the Board

Mr. Beaumont brings the experience of a 30 year career at Nortel, retiring as Chief Engineer at BNR. Joining BNR in 1964, Mr. Beaumont ran all major digital switching projects, including the SL 1 PBX and DMS public switching system. For 3 years, Mr. Beaumont was Executive Vice President, Product Line Management for all of Nortel's consumer and business products and then Senior Vice President, Technology. Mr. Beaumont has also served on the boards of PMC Sierra (PMCS, NASDAQ), BCE Emergis (EME, TSX), and Plaintree Systems (TSX), and acts as an advisor to a number of small start up companies.

Mr. Beaumont holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of London.


Fariba Anderson

With over 20 years experience in the technology industry, Ms. Anderson's leadership and management experience spans public and private sectors and includes governance, strategy and general management. Ms. Anderson is well known for her business change management leadership through her tenure across many mergers and acquisitions in Canada, US and Europe. In her capacity as the Manta Group Partner, Ms. Anderson provides consulting services to public and private organizations interested in governance, risk and compliance strategies and practices as a mean to better manage the rate of return for investment in technology. Ms. Anderson is the author of the Manta Group AAA Risk Management Framework derived from CobiT IV and industry best practices; and provides thought leadership for aligning investment in technology to business demands, priorities and objectives.

Ms. Anderson holds an MBA from University of Toronto Rotman School of Management complemented with a computer science degree. Ms. Anderson serves as an independent member of Board of Directors with governance accountability for Avokia and Objectworld.


Tom Eisenhauer

Tom is the founder and Managing Partner of Latitude Partners, a technology-oriented buyout fund based in Toronto, Ontario. Tom has been an active board member since 2003 when Latitude acquired a majority interest in Mobile Knowledge. He is also a board member of a number of other technology companies in the wireless, communications and enterprise software sectors. Prior to founding Latitude in 1999, Tom was Managing Director of TD Securities' Investment Banking Technology Group which he founded in 1995. In that capacity he led TDSI's merger and acquisition, private placement and public underwriting activities for information technology and biotech companies across Canada and the United States. Prior to its acquisition by TDSI in 1995, Tom was a Managing Director of Lancaster Financial, one of Canada's largest independent merger and acquisition advisory and merchant banking firms, which he joined in 1987.

Tom holds an M.A. in Economics from Queen's University and a B.A. (Honours Economics) from the University of King's College at Dalhousie University.


David Levy

As President & Chief Executive Officer at Objectworld, Mr. Levy oversees all areas of the Company's operations, including setting corporate direction and establishing strategic objectives. Mr. Levy and Mr. Schenkel as co-founders of Velartica acquired the assets of ObjectWorld on April 13th 2004. Mr. Levy brings over 30 years of experience commercializing emerging technologies into successful communications and computing businesses.

Prior to this present venture, Mr. Levy was President and CEO of Mobile Knowledge. In partnership with Latitude Partners, a Toronto based Investment Company; Mr. Levy restructured Mobile Knowledge into a profitable operating company. Mr. Levy founded Loran Inc. in 1993, which he built as Chairman and CEO into a leading systems integration and network management company. Peregrine Systems acquired Loran for $130 million in September 2000, after which Mr. Levy served as General Manager of its worldwide network management business unit. Mr. Levy was also the founder of Plaintree Systems Inc. and its President from 1988 to 1993, where he pioneered the first silicon-based IEEE.802.1d Bridge for Ethernet and LAN media switching. Throughout his career, Mr. Levy has held senior management positions with industry leaders such as Mitel, Bell Northern Research, ITT, and IBM throughout North America and Europe. Mr. Levy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Birmingham University in England.


Scott Pelton

Scott Pelton is a Vice President, Investments for GrowthWorks Capital Ltd. Prior to joining GrowthWorks in 2005, he spent five years at Scotiabank Private Equity Investments, most recently as Executive Director. Prior to Scotiabank, Scott worked in a variety of consulting and systems development roles for clients such as Intel, SAP and Sony.

Scott earned a Bachelor of (Computer) Engineering and Management from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He works with a number of growth company boards.
