Mr. David Levy

Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Levy sets corporate direction and establishes high-level strategic objectives. Mr. Levy and Mr. Schenkel as co-founders of Velartica acquired the assets of ObjectWorld on April 13th 2004. Mr. Levy brings over 30 years of experience commercializing emerging technologies into successful communications and computing businesses.

Prior to this present venture, Mr. Levy was President and CEO of Mobile Knowledge. In partnership with Latitude Partners, a Toronto based Investment Company; Mr. Levy restructured Mobile Knowledge into a profitable operating company. Mr. Levy founded Loran Inc. in 1993, which he built as Chairman and CEO into a leading systems integration and network management company. Peregrine Systems acquired Loran for $130 million in September 2000, after which Mr. Levy served as General Manager of its worldwide network management business unit. Mr. Levy was also the founder of Plaintree Systems Inc. and its President from 1988 to 1993, where he pioneered the first silicon-based IEEE.802.1d Bridge for Ethernet and LAN media switching. Throughout his career, Mr. Levy has held senior management positions with industry leaders such as Mitel, Bell Northern Research, ITT, and IBM throughout North America and Europe. Mr. Levy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Birmingham University in England.


Mr. David Schenkel

Chief Technology Officer

As Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Schenkel oversees the overall technical direction of the company and its product development plan. Mr. Schenkel is also responsible for the establishment of customer satisfaction through the use of continuous improvement processes for the delivery of both product and customer support. To achieve this mandate, Mr. Schenkel draws on over 25 years of experience relating technology convergences and market direction to corporate goals and processes.

Prior to this present venture, Mr. Schenkel was the CTO of Mobile Knowledge. In this position Mr. Schenkel provided strategic product direction, and significantly improved the quality of the Company's operations, including IT, manufacturing, professional services and customer support. Mr. Schenkel was also Director of Technology at Peregrine Systems and Loran International Technologies Inc where he held similar responsibilities. Throughout his career, Mr. Schenkel has worked in large organizations such as Nortel and Mitel and has also been a successful technology entrepreneur as one of the founders of Plaintree Systems. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hon) degree from the Engineering Science Program at the University of Toronto.


Mr. Ross Morgan

Chief Financial Officer

Ross Morgan brings over 17 years experience in financial management in public and private hardware and software companies to Objectworld. He has played key roles in securing several financings, completing several acquisitions and an IPO. Most recently, Ross was CFO and Treasurer at Mobile Knowledge, a Canadian publicly-traded company that was acquired and taken private by its venture capital firm.

Prior to joining Mobile Knowledge, Ross was Director of Finance at Loran International Technologies Inc., a network management software company that was purchased by Peregrine Systems in September 2000. He continued as Director of Finance, Canada for Peregrine until he left in March 2002. Previously, he had worked under contract as Director of Finance for Plaintree Systems, a manufacturer of network switching equipment. Ross spent 13 years in public accounting with Ernst & Young in Windsor, Toronto and Ottawa. The last five years with Ernst & Young were in Ottawa, where he provided assurance and advisory services to public and private high tech companies. Ross is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Accounting from the University of Waterloo.


Mr. Nick Matejuk

Vice President, Strategic Alliances

With more than 20 years of sales, marketing and management experience in the consulting and technology industries, Mr. Matejuk is responsible for managing all areas of the company's strategic alliance initiatives including Microsoft and Avaya, as well as overseeing all areas of Objectworld's distribution channels.

Mr. Matejuk joined Objectworld as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in September 2000. Prior to Objectworld, Mr. Matejuk has worked in sales management positions with such technology companies as KPMG Peat Marwick, Apple Computer, Novell and Quality Systems and Software (QSS).


Mr. Robert Turner

Director, Product Development

Robert is one of the original founders of ObjectWorld, and has been with the company since 1996. He has been an instrumental part of the development of the company's technology and products, and is now the key architect for ongoing development. Previously, he has held positions with Nortel Networks and CrossKeys Systems. His background is in telecommunications software development, and he holds a B.Math in Computer Science with Electrical Engineering Electives from the University of Waterloo.


Mr. Jeff Wissing, P.Eng

Director, Product Management and Systems Engineering

Jeff's experience includes working for Mitel Networks where he helped bridge the gap between enterprise telephone systems and computer telephony applications. He offers a broad knowledge of networking technologies and telecom applications including telecom platforms, messaging solutions, call center applications, personal productivity tools and wireless technologies. His experience also includes defining the next generation IP Voice networks for enterprise and service provider Networks with Nokia (Formerly Vienna Systems).

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University.


Mr. Vincent Guihan

Director, Marketing and Sales Operations

As Director, Marketing and Sales Operations at Objectworld, Mr. Guihan oversees all aspects of Objectworld's corporate, product and program marketing and communication activities. With 12 years of high-tech and agency experience marketing software titles to IT roles, Mr. Guihan brings an extensive background in creative direction, marketing strategy, campaigning, and operations that addresses the pre-sales process from outreach to sales closure.

Prior to joining Objectworld, Mr. Guihan held senior marketing positions with Catena Networks, Cognos, and Corel, as well as Studiomatic and McMillan & Associates, Ottawa's leading integrated marketing firms, where his accounts included IBM, Alcatel and Microsoft among others. He holds a Masters Degree in English from Carleton University and is a PhD candidate in the Cultural Mediations program at Carleton.
